President Trump called George Floyd by name during his press presence at the White House to celebrate the new job numbers on Friday.
Excerpts from prepared remarks in parts of his speech, Trump said, “Equal justice under the law must mean equal treatment in every fight with law enforcement, regardless of race, gender, or ethnicity.” They need to receive fair treatment from law enforcement. They have to accept it. ”
“We have all seen what happened last week. We can’t let that happen. Hope George is looking down and saying this is happening for our country great (it) great day for him. This is a great day for everyone. This is a great, great day in terms of equality, ”Trump added.

Prior to his remarks about Floyd and equal trials under the law, Trump’s comments about the ongoing protests in the wake of Floyd’s death focused mostly on praising job law enforcement and urging protesters and some states to allow the National Guard to enter.
“Call me, we’ll be ready for them so fast that their heads will spin quickly,” he said, referring to the success in Minneapolis, criticizing the city mayor.
