Will Prime Minister Modi share his views on Unlock 2.0?
It said the new rules would remain in effect until July 31. Some school-college activities and international travel outside of almost all content zones are allowed, as well as some reservations among others. The national broadcaster Doordarshan will broadcast the Prime Minister’s address live.
Interestingly, this address has come against the backdrop of rising Indo-China border tensions. On Monday evening, the government banned 59 Chinese apps on national security grounds, a move seen as India’s response to a recent accident in China that has resulted in casualties on both sides.
