Former India batsman Akash Chopra has chosen former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni to lead India’s all-time Indian Premier League XI.
Dhoni, the most successful captain in the IPL, has led the Chennai Super Kings to three titles and the record of taking the team to the final seven times.

Chopra came in at number 3 on his YouTube channel ‘Akashvani’ with India captain Virat Kohli to inaugurate the batting of Rohit Sharma and David Warner. Suresh Raina, AB de Villiers and Dhoni have made their middle order before veteran spinners Harbhajan Singh and Sunil Narine went down to bat.
In the motion division, Chopra has Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Lasith Malinga and Jaspreet Bumrah on the bench along with Gautam Gambhir and Andre Russell.
